Skottsberg 22 cm Cast Iron Frying Pan

Skottsberg cast iron frying pan - versatile, durable and distinguished by its polished cast iron cooking surface.

One of the key advantages of this pan is its polished interior cast iron surface. Compared to a standard, rougher cast iron surface, it is smoother, so food sticks to it less and it is easier to build up an even, natural non-stick layer. The more often the pan is used and properly cared for, the more effective this layer becomes - without PFAS or synthetic non-stick coatings.

The pan is already seasoned at the factory with a baked-on layer of 100% vegetable oil, so it can be used right away. Traditional cast iron distributes and retains heat evenly for a long time, making it perfect for searing steaks, frying vegetables, stewing or cooking at high temperatures.

The Skottsberg pan can be used on all types of hobs, including induction, in the oven, on the grill and even over an open fire. Special heat treatment increases resistance to rust and scratches, and the sturdy Skottsberg handle provides a comfortable grip while cooking.

Advantages of polished cast iron:

• Smoother cooking surface than traditional rough cast iron
• Food is less likely to stick
• Easier to build up an even, natural non-stick layer

Why choose it?

The polished Skottsberg cast iron surface provides one of the pan's biggest advantages - a smoother cooking surface and the ability to gradually build an increasingly effective natural non-stick layer without synthetic coatings.

Important: avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent the pan from warping. Cooking acidic foods is not recommended.
