Map compass on a lanyard Sun Co. ProMap Compass

This compact navigational compass is a practical addition to any outdoor kit, designed for hikers, campers, and anyone who needs reliable orientation away from marked trails. Built to be lightweight and easy to carry, it fits comfortably in a pocket, backpack pouch, or survival kit without adding noticeable bulk.

With a total length of 106 mm and a width of 66 mm, the compass is sized for a firm, steady grip while reading a bearing, yet remains small enough to stow alongside a map, whistle, or first-aid supplies. At just 82 g, it keeps overall pack weight low, making it well suited for day hikes, multi-day treks, or as part of a broader emergency and survival kit.

Whether used as a primary navigation tool or as a dependable backup to a GPS device, this compass is a sensible choice for anyone spending time in the outdoors, from casual campers to more experienced hikers preparing for varied terrain.
