Description

The Camshaft 1370 model is an everyday folder that belongs to a line of affordable knives with a modern design, made of 4Cr14 steel and equipped with the SpeedSafe system responsible for assisting the opening of the blade.

Proven steel

The 76mm long blade is made of sturdy 4Cr14 steel hardened to 55-57 HRC. This Chinese stainless steel is characterized by high corrosion resistance, relatively short-lived sharpness, but this is perfectly compensated by the ease and speed of sharpening.

Such properties of the steel make the Kershaw Camshaft 1370 intended for less demanding users and people who are just beginning their adventure with the outdoors and the issue of edc.

Functional blade

Theslim blade with a utilitarian clip-point profile has a matte stonewashed (abrasive stone bath)finish, which effectively masks minor scratches or abrasions to the blade from use.

Thanks to the use of a strong hilt, concave grind and a cutting edge with a gentle curve, the knife has good cutting and penetrating properties, and the blade does not wedge in the material being cut.

The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 2.8 mm, which is a compromise between the strength and functionality of the knife in everyday work. Transverse milling cutters made on the back of the blade allow stable support of the fingers during work.

The knife's design includes custom touches in the form of a pivot with an original design and a backspacer protruding from the handle with a line attachment.

Convenient handling

The blade is unfolded with one hand using a milled flipper, a solution convenient for both right- and left-handed users. This convenient method of opening the blade makes the use of the knife extremely convenient and easy.

Assist mechanism for unfolding the blade

The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe assist mechanism. When the flipper flipper is pressed or the peg is leveraged, the assist mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.

Robust locking mechanism

Once the blade is unfolded, it is securely locked with a liner-lock mechanism. The steel locking bar provides a high level of security, and its operation is very intuitive and convenient. A reliable lock is an important element calling for the functionality and safety of the folding knife.

Carrying clip

Discreetly carrying the knife in your pocket is facilitated by a spring clip with the ability to attach in 2 positions. Protruding from the handle, the backspacer has a clip for attaching a rope or braided paracord, which are very popular among many knife owners.

Ergonomic liners

The knife's handle is formed by liners made of lightweight and durable fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN). The contoured shape of the grip and fine texturing makes the knife very secure in the hand and comfortable to use.
