Benchmade 2750SGY-3 Adamas is the automatic tactical version of the Adamas knife, designed by the respected knifemaker Shane Sibert. This model features a partially serrated tungsten-colored blade edge with TAN (sand) colored G10 handle scales.

CPM-CruWear - a new generation of steel

The blade is made from the latest tool steel by Crucible Industries LLC - CPM-CruWear, hardened to as much as 63-65 HRC. Known for excellent wear resistance and toughness, CPM-CruWear can be described as a steel that outperforms the original D2 steel twofold. The new formula is enriched with vanadium, tungsten, and molybdenum additives, which give the steel exceptional wear resistance and allow it to reach a high hardness. When choosing a knife made from such steel, it is worth investing in a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic sharpener can be very laborious and inefficient.

Armored blade

The wide drop-point blade, 96 mm long, is coated with a steel-gray Cerakote finish that protects against minor scratches and emphasizes the knife's tactical character. The blade has a robust base and a flat grind, ensuring smooth cutting and easy penetration. At its widest point, the blade is as much as 3.5 mm thick. The raised spine features transverse jimping, allowing the finger to rest firmly during use. These parameters ensure the knife's functionality and durability, making it suitable for demanding tasks. To further enhance functionality, the rear portion of the cutting edge is serrated. The combination edge is especially useful for cutting hard and fibrous materials such as belts, ropes, and straps.

Automatically deploying blade

The blade can be conveniently and quickly deployed with one hand using the locking slider on either side, making the knife instantly ready for use. Safety during operation is provided by the Auto Axis locking mechanism, valued for its high mechanical strength, resistance to dirt and debris, and ease of use. The knife also features an additional safety lock that prevents accidental blade deployment during use.

The Benchmade 2750SGY-3 Adamas features a sand-colored G10 laminate finish, produced using a precise 3D method. The glass-epoxy laminate used offers low weight, high mechanical strength, and resistance to water, temperature changes, as well as many acids and solvents. The contoured shape, combined with cross-milling and a rough textured plastic surface, ensures an excellent grip and comfort. The partially open handle construction makes the knife easier to clean.

Repositionable carry clip

Discreet pocket carry is enabled by a high-mounted clip, which can be attached to either side of the handle.
