The Kershaw Link 1776OLSW is a lightweight folding knife, with a head made of high quality CPM-20CV steel, an aluminum handle and a SpeedSafe mechanism to assist the unfolding of the blade.
Premium stainless steel

The 82 mm long blade is made of CPM-S20V powder steel, hardened to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S20V is an American "super steel", the parameters of which correspond to the exclusive Bohler M390 stainless steel.

Thanks to the high content of chromium and a large amount of vanadium carbides, the blade is characterized by exceptionally good corrosion and wear resistance, and a very long retention of sharpness.

When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, because sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and ineffective.

The blade has a matte stonewashed finish (bathed in abrasive stones). The process perfectly masks any scratches and abrasions caused during use.

The drop-point blade has a cutting edge with a gentle curvature, a concave cut and a durable tip, so the cut is smooth, and the knife will be perfect as part of our edc.

The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between the durability and functionality of the knife in everyday work.

Comfort of use

The blade can be conveniently unfolded with one hand using a flipper, so that after removing it from the pocket, the knife is immediately ready for work.

This solution is convenient for both right and left-handed users, it also allows for comfortable use of the knife with gloves.

The opening process is facilitated by the SpeedSafe support mechanism. When you press the pinball blade, the support mechanism activates an internal spring that dynamically unfolds the blade, making the knife ready for use in a fraction of a second.

Blade lock

After unfolding the blade, it is securely locked with the liner-lock mechanism. The steel blockade strip provides a high level of security, and its operation is very intuitive and convenient. A reliable lock is an important element that calls for the functionality and safety of a folding knife.

Comfortable grip

The handle of the knife is made of durable 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, which has been anodized to an olive green color. The linings were attached to steel liners, which are responsible for the rigidity and strength of the structure.

The profiled shape of the handle and fine texturing make the knife very secure in the hand, and its use is very comfortable.

In the rear part of the handle there is a hole for attaching a decorative paracord tail, which makes it easier and faster to remove the knife from the pocket. Discreet carrying of the knife in a pocket is possible thanks to a profiled clip that can be mounted on both sides of the handle.
