Xylophones for the Youngest

First musical discoveries

The cymbal xylophone for the youngest children is a colourful instrument designed specifically for children from eighteen months of age. This multicoloured toy catches the eye with its intense colours and encourages children to experiment with sound.

Thanks to its simple form and many ways of playing, the instrument sparks a child's curiosity and supports their natural need to explore. The xylophone is a great first introduction to the world of music, sound and rhythm, while providing safe and developmental play.

Construction and features

The toy is made of durable, safe materials suitable even for the youngest users. The set includes metal plates that can be struck with a stick to produce sounds, colourful buttons, and rings that can be turned to create interesting tones.

The xylophone offers as many as three ways of making sound, which makes play more varied and engaging. In addition, included note sheets with well-known English melodies allow children to make their first attempts at playing on their own, even without knowing musical notation.

Impact on child development

Playing with the xylophone stimulates sensory development by combining visual, tactile and auditory stimuli. Striking the plates and pressing the buttons is also excellent exercise for fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Contact with sound develops musical sensitivity, rhythm and concentration, while giving the child space to express emotions and creativity. The xylophone also teaches cause-and-effect relationships, which is very important in the early stages of cognitive development.
