Ooni Halo Pro Charcoal Grey kitchen mixer

The Halo Pro is a professional-grade spiral mixer adapted for home bakers: the bowl rotates together with the spiral hook, while the patented removable breaker bar shapes the dough gently and evenly, heating it less and building a stronger gluten network - so pizza and bread dough become more elastic and easier to work with.

Key advantages:

• Spiral mixing technology: a rotating 7 L stainless steel bowl, a spiral hook and a removable breaker bar efficiently knead the dough and improve gluten development.
• Precise control: 58 speed levels, speed shown in % or RPM, the bowl rotates at 7-50 RPM, with a built-in timer of up to 60 minutes.
• Bowl and capacity: minimum single-portion dough from 1 kg (up to 640 g of flour), maximum up to 5 kg (up to 3200 g of flour). Bowl - 7 L.
• Easy to use and clean: a lift-up head, a removable bowl, a transparent splash guard with a funnel. The bowl, breaker bar, spiral hook, silicone spatula-whisk and whisk head are dishwasher-safe (the gearbox must not be immersed in water).
• Versatility: besides dough, the included accessories let you mix, whip and beat creams, sponge batters, cookies and more.

Usage recommendations:

• Works best with 55-80 % hydration doughs; experienced bakers can reach up to 100 % hydration.
• Use the timer to plan kneading-rest cycles (up to 60 min).
• Speed readings can be switched between % and RPM - convenient for reproducing recipes precisely.

Frequently asked questions:

How does a spiral mixer differ from a regular planetary one?
The spiral system (both the bowl and the hook rotate) with the breaker bar kneads more gently, more evenly and heats the dough less - a stronger gluten network forms faster.

Is it dishwasher-safe?
Yes: the bowl, splash guard, spiral hook, breaker bar, spatula and whisk heads are all suitable.

Is the bowl removable? Does the head lift up?
Yes, the bowl is removable and the head lifts up - so changing accessories and washing the bowl is especially convenient.
