Description

The alternative for spectacle wearers - the fit-over sunglasses can simply be worn over normal glasses. Quick use, good fit and the correction glasses are hardly visible. The lenses completely filter out UV light with a wavelength of up to 400 nm so that no dangerous UV-A, UV-B or UV-C rays reach the eye. Between 8% and 18% of the light can pass through the glasses. This corresponds to filter category 3 for protection against strong solar radiation. The wider temples provide additional protection against light irritation. The lenses of the glasses are polarized. This means that on the one hand reflections are significantly reduced - for example on water - and on the other hand contrast is increased, making contours and colours clearer and more distinct. When Christof Nagel, founder of the ActiveSol brand, was on vacation with his then 2-year-old son on a charming beach in Corsica, he noticed that they had enough sunscreen with them, but nothing to protect the little one's eyes. Back in Germany, he looked around for matching baby sunglasses, but couldn't find a high-quality model.
