Garberg full-tang Polymer black

A powerful, thick-bladed full-tang knife designed to perform in all conditions and for every task. The sturdiest knife Morakniv has ever made. Suitable for versatile, demanding use as part of the outdoor gear that is always with you: hunting, fishing, expeditions, hiking, all-round general use, military use, authorities, and more. One of the five essential items needed for survival in the wild. Only the best available materials have been used in its construction.

Supplied with a polymer sheath. The knife can be inserted into the sheath from either end, so it works efficiently in the dark and for both right- and left-handed users. The sheath and knife are easy to unclip from the belt loop and leave in the vehicle, for example when going into a shop.

The blade has a Scandi-grind profile that makes sharpening easy. The spine is ground to work optimally with a fire steel. The polyamide handle is exceptionally resistant to mechanical stress and twisting, and its surface offers an excellent grip that makes work more effective. The handle has a spacious hole for attaching a cord or for other needs.

Blade material: cold-rolled Swedish stainless special steel 14C28N, heat-treated to be even stronger and to last longer. Total length: 225 mm, all of it the same steel. Length of the semi-matte blade: 109 mm. Blade thickness: 3.2 mm. Weight: 177 g. 10-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. Country of manufacture: Sweden.

Delivered in a peg-hangable retail gift box measuring 26 cm x 5.8 cm x 4.4 cm. The package contains: the knife, the sheath and a detachable closed belt loop (for belts up to 70 mm wide).

For those planning a survival kit: the four other essential survival items — with which you can do all sorts of things, but which are hardest to create from what nature provides — are: a fire-making tool that works when wet (a fire steel), a space blanket, paracord, and a container in which you can boil water. Once these five items are in place, everything needed for eating and protecting yourself from the elements can be created fairly easily from things found in nature, whether you are lost in the forest, surrounded as a soldier, or shipwrecked in an archipelago.
