The blade features the classic Scandinavian grind (Scandi grind) at approximately 23°, which means very good control for precise tasks such as planing, preparing kindling, or wood carving.

The blade's construction, set deep into the handle, improves stability and force transfer when working close to the edge, increasing safety and comfort.
