A powerful and rugged tool for outdoorsmen, hunters, fishermen, hikers and the military. The extra large handle is suitable for large hands and for use with gloves on. When the knife is to be struck from the butt end or the end of the handle, it requires great strength throughout its construction. The Companion Heavy Duty is the right choice for such applications. The handle is injected into the spindle using a three-layer method and the exceptionally thick blade is sharpened to an optimum angle of 27° (Nordic sharpening), so that it retains its sharpness even in the most severe treatment for a maximum length of time (normal knives usually have a sharpening angle of 23°). Rubber grip with textured handle for an excellent grip and more efficient working. The blade is made of high carbon steel, which makes it easy to sharpen.

The military green plastic sheath has a drain hole at the bottom and a belt clip at the top, which also allows attachment to a button, as well as to the optional Twin Holder attachment, which allows two knives to be carried side by side on the belt (product no. 11796). The sheath can also be attached directly to the side of all Morakniv Combi Sheath sheaths, allowing two knives to be carried together. Material and manufacturing defects guaranteed for 10 years.
