And the uvex pace stage s V makes no compromises when it comes to comfort: the individually adjustable nose pads guarantee a pleasantly secure fit during fast movement.

TECHNOLOGIES
100% UV PROTECTION - UV-absorbing filters built directly into the lens material protect the retina 100% from harmful UV rays up to 400 nm. All lenses provide 100% protection against UVA, UVB and UVC rays. This is also the basis of our company name. uv-ex = does not let ultraviolet rays through.
PROVEN SAFETY - UVEX glasses are tested specially at the UVEX test centre. They can fully guarantee safety and functionality verified by quality tests. The tests provide new insights and data that help create the next generation of innovative technologies.
SOFT nose pads and soft ear tips - Glasses fit perfectly when you don't feel that you are wearing them. Soft nose pads and soft ear tips ensure pressure-free comfort.
SUPRAVISION - The best anti-fog coating. Special surface treatment ensures fog-free vision - without changing the optical quality of the lens.
Variomatic - The self-tinting variomatic lenses respond automatically and continuously to natural lighting conditions. With a single pair of glasses you cover category 1-3 filters. Adaptation from light to dark tint takes 25 seconds, which is ideal for changing weather during long cycling days.
Easy to clean - thanks to the special surface coating, moisture and fingerprints are easily removed from the lens. The easy-clean coating is antistatic - it repels dirt and dust - ensuring the clearest vision in the most extreme conditions.
About Uvex
The uvex brand (uv-ex = ultraviolet excluded) was first introduced in the the Mid fifties by Rainer Winter, managing director of UVEX WINTER HOLDING GmbH & Co.KG, based in Fürth, Germany, for a line of sunglasses. It soon turned into an umbrella brand for all their sports products and was then extended from the mid-seventies onwards to include the safety division.
From this point on, all sports and leisure products (ski, cycling and riding helmets, ski, cycling, equestrian and sports eyewear) made by UVEX SPORTS GmbH & Co. KG, Fürth, and all the products in the industrial sector (protective eyewear, helmets, hearing and hand protection, safety footwear and workwear) made by UVEX SAFETY GROUP GmbH & Co. KG., Fürth, were brought together under one brand: uvex.
In order to create a presence in the US market, a subsidiary company, UVEX WINTER OPTICAL, Inc., was founded in 1980 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. This subsidiary also produced protective eyewear in its own factory. In 1993, the uvex safety division was gradually sold to the French Bacou Group, including trademark rights in the USA. The sports division, however, was retained in full by the uvex group.
As a result, in the Western Hemisphere (North, Central and South America) the uvex brand name related to the safety division is now only used by the Sperian group (part of Honeywell International). uvex sports products however are distributed by the uvex group. In the Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa) the trademark rights for both divisions are still held by the uvex group (Germany).
