Description
Founded in Germany and producing bicycle tires and inner tubes for more than a hundred years, CONTINENTAL has refined its production technologies and selects only the best materials, allowing it to offer genuinely high-quality products today. German patented innovations - ProTection, Black Chilli, RaceSport, Vectran, PolyX, PureGrip Apex, Duraskin and others - deliver, depending on the model, exceptional puncture resistance, better performance on the road or improved traction off-road. There is a wide choice of tread patterns, valve types, sizes and purposes, from children's and BMX to road, city and mountain bike tires and tubes, including specialized tires for e-bikes and for winter.
The Continental eCONTACT Plus was developed specifically for the requirements of commuter bikes and e-bikes. The tire offers high mileage and has a compact tread that keeps rolling resistance low and maximizes the range of each battery charge. Thanks to its unique profile and SafetyPlusPro technology, it offers particularly high protection against nails, shards and other objects.

TECHNOLOGIES
- ECO 50 - Tires with the Continental ECO 50 logo are recommended for e-bikes at speeds up to 50 km/h. Their extra-high-quality construction guarantees low rolling resistance and good puncture protection.
- SAFETYPLUS - For e-bikes, Continental combines the puncture- and cut-resistant SafetySystem Kevlar-reinforced nylon breaker with a highly elastic material. The result is an extremely puncture- and cut-resistant casing which, thanks to its high elasticity, provides especially low rolling resistance, saving battery power and the environment. The breaker also meets the demands of higher-speed e-bikes up to 50 km/h and is adapted to their higher acceleration torque and faster cornering speeds.
