Description
-
A loud alarm scares off thieves: the BORDO™ 6000KA is the successor to the BORDO™ 6000A. With a slightly revised design and coating, it joins the Bordo family. It also features the XPlus cylinder.
The BORDO™ Alarm 6000KA provides strong protection for bicycles against theft thanks to its alarm function and advanced lock cylinder.
With the modern XPlus lock cylinder system, this is the first ABUS alarmed folding lock with even better protection. The XPlus cylinder makes it even harder for thieves to break in. In addition, an alarm of up to 100 dB draws attention during any theft attempt. Thanks to smart motion sensor technology, the bike lock can distinguish even small vibrations from determined attempts to steal the bike. The 3D position detection ensures that, when the bike is pushed, only a short warning sound is emitted at first. A stronger and longer movement triggers a loud alarm.
Want to be safe? Then drive thieves to despair with the BORDO™ 6000KA!
Technologies
- 5 mm thick bars with an extra-soft yet durable coating to prevent paint damage
- Bars and body made of specially hardened steel
- An alarm of at least 100 dB sounds for 20 seconds, after which it automatically re-arms
- 3D position detection - detects vibration and the smallest movements in all three dimensions and triggers the alarm
- Smart alarm - the lock emits only a small warning sound if vibration is minor and brief, e.g. if a football bounces off nearby
- An acoustic signal indicates the battery status and active state
- Bars connected with special rivets
- ABUS XPlus cylinder providing the best protection against manipulation such as picking
- Includes SH bracket
- Transport position - do not insert the lock bar fully so the alarm stays inactive
- Alarm position - fully insert the lock bar; the alarm will activate after locking
- Speaker with a small contact surface - protected behind the lock bar
- Design colour: black
- Weight: 1450 g
- Length: 90 cm
- Locking type: Key
-
