Description

Cooking outdoors while saving energy. The Petromax Rocket Stove effectively combines stack effect and wood boiler principle. The extremely efficient combustion with little fuel is perfect for outdoor cooking and makes it even more varied. Dutch ovens, cast- and wrought-iron pans (ft 3 or ft 4,5 w/o feet recommended) for example can be placed on the cast-iron top.

The Petromax lamp was developed in 1910 by Max Graetz, who also gave the brand its name, on the basis of a well-known spirit incandescent lamp. At the time, when electricity was far from being available in every household, it was a great step forward to make such a bright light available and affordable for everyone. Graetz secured the rights to the name "Petromax", which was derived from "Petroleum Maxe", as his friends and confidants affectionately called him. In the end, the lamp, in different versions, became a worldwide bestseller.
